KayCee's breast are filling up and there are at least three of the puppies that you can feel getting very active in there. We have her new bed and all the things needed to help here and the pups have an easy as possible entrance. I do not think it is going to be very long now. KayCee's temperature is starting to drop again so that is a sign she is getting ready to get into action.
Puppy update. On Saturday, February 8th, we took KayCee into the East-West Veteranary Clinic in Cape Coral, FL. We had x-rays done to try and determine about how many puppies were ready to make their appearance. There were 5 definitely identifiable pups from two different angles, but we are all thinking there probably are at least six.
Today is February 1st. We are expecting KayCee to have her puppies on Valentine's day. Today my husband Pat and I are going to take her into the vet for a check up and ultrasound. She is getting pretty big so we are expecting there will be quite a few babies, quite unlike her own whelp when she was the ONLY puppy!! Never seen that before so we knew she was going to be something special. We will keep everyone posted on our visit to the vet and KayCee's progress.
